The IMX334 (Starvis 1. Gen) is a 8.42-megapixel M/C image sensor manufactured by Sony. It delivers a 3864 × 2180 pixel array with a 2 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 8.873 mm diagonal with a 966:545 aspect ratio, typical of the 1/2-inch optical class used in compact industrial cameras. With 2 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
