The IMX383 is a 20.48-megapixel CMOS image sensor manufactured by Sony. It delivers a 5544 × 3694 pixel array with a 2.4 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 15.989 mm diagonal with a 2772:1847 aspect ratio, matching the 2/3-inch optical format common in professional machine vision cameras. With 2.4 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
