The IMX456 (ToF) is a 0.31-megapixel monochrome CMOS image sensor manufactured by Sony. It delivers a 640 × 480 pixel array with a 10 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 8 mm diagonal with a 0.16875 aspect ratio, typical of the 1/2-inch optical class used in compact industrial cameras. With 10 µm pixels, the sensor features large pixels optimised for high sensitivity and dynamic range in low-light and scientific applications.
