The IMX492 (Starvis 1. Gen) is a 47.08-megapixel M/C image sensor manufactured by Sony. It delivers a 8336 × 5648 pixel array with a 2.315 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 23.31 mm diagonal with a 521:353 aspect ratio, corresponding to the 1-inch optical class used in industrial and broadcast cameras. With 2.315 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
