The IMX515 (Starvis) is a 8.47-megapixel CMOS image sensor manufactured by Sony. It delivers a 3864 × 2192 pixel array with a 1.45 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 6.442 mm diagonal with a 483:274 aspect ratio, characteristic of 1/3-inch sensors widely used in embedded and surveillance systems. With 1.45 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
