The IMX518 (ToF) is a 0.31-megapixel monochrome CMOS image sensor manufactured by Sony. It delivers a 640 × 480 pixel array with a 5 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 4 mm diagonal with a 0.16875 aspect ratio, in the 1/4-inch class found in compact embedded vision modules. With 5 µm pixels, the sensor features mid-range pixel pitch balancing sensitivity and resolution for industrial inspection and machine vision.
