The VD55G0 is a 0.39-megapixel monochrome CMOS image sensor manufactured by STMicroelectronics. It delivers a 644 × 604 pixel array with a 2.61 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 2.304 mm diagonal with a 161:151 aspect ratio. With 2.61 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
