The Emerald 16M is a 17.04-megapixel M/C image sensor manufactured by Teledyne e2v. It delivers a 4128 × 4128 pixel array with a 2.8 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 16.346 mm diagonal with a 0.042361111 aspect ratio, corresponding to the 1-inch optical class used in industrial and broadcast cameras. With 2.8 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
