The Emerald 36M is a 37.75-megapixel M/C image sensor manufactured by Teledyne e2v. It delivers a 6144 × 6144 pixel array with a 2.5 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 21.722 mm diagonal with a 0.042361111 aspect ratio, corresponding to the 1-inch optical class used in industrial and broadcast cameras. With 2.5 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
