The Emerald 3.2M is a 3.15-megapixel M/C image sensor manufactured by Teledyne e2v. It delivers a 2048 × 1536 pixel array with a 2.8 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 7.168 mm diagonal with a 0.16875 aspect ratio, characteristic of 1/3-inch sensors widely used in embedded and surveillance systems. With 2.8 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
