The Flash 4k is a 4.42-megapixel monochrome CMOS image sensor manufactured by Teledyne e2v. It delivers a 4096 × 1080 pixel array with a 6 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 25.416 mm diagonal with a 512:135 aspect ratio, corresponding to the 1-inch optical class used in industrial and broadcast cameras. With 6 µm pixels, the sensor features mid-range pixel pitch balancing sensitivity and resolution for industrial inspection and machine vision.
