The Snappy 5M is a 4.96-megapixel M/C image sensor manufactured by Teledyne e2v. It delivers a 2560 × 1936 pixel array with a 2.8 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 8.987 mm diagonal with a 160:121 aspect ratio, typical of the 1/2-inch optical class used in compact industrial cameras. With 2.8 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
