The Topaz 1.5M is a 1.54-megapixel M/C image sensor manufactured by Teledyne e2v. It delivers a 1920 × 800 pixel array with a 2.5 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 5.2 mm diagonal with a 0.503472222 aspect ratio, in the 1/4-inch class found in compact embedded vision modules. With 2.5 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
