The NSC1104 is a 0.44-megapixel monochrome CMOS image sensor manufactured by NIT. It delivers a 768 × 576 pixel array with a 15 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 14.4 mm diagonal with a 0.16875 aspect ratio, matching the 2/3-inch optical format common in professional machine vision cameras. With 15 µm pixels, the sensor features large pixels optimised for high sensitivity and dynamic range in low-light and scientific applications.
