The ISOCELL GN2 is a 50.14-megapixel CMOS image sensor manufactured by Samsung Semiconductors. It delivers a 8160 × 6144 pixel array with a 1.4 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 14.3 mm diagonal with a 85:64 aspect ratio, matching the 2/3-inch optical format common in professional machine vision cameras. With 1.4 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
