The SC5238 is a 5.11-megapixel CMOS image sensor manufactured by SmartSens Technology. It delivers a 2608 × 1960 pixel array with a 1.998 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 6.518 mm diagonal with a 326:245 aspect ratio, characteristic of 1/3-inch sensors widely used in embedded and surveillance systems. With 1.998 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
