The ICX027 is a 0.29-megapixel M/YMCG image sensor manufactured by Sony. It delivers a 500 × 582 pixel array with a 12.7 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 7.979 mm diagonal with a 31750:24153 aspect ratio, characteristic of 1/3-inch sensors widely used in embedded and surveillance systems. With 12.7 µm pixels, the sensor features large pixels optimised for high sensitivity and dynamic range in low-light and scientific applications.
