The IMX164 is a 12.40-megapixel CMOS image sensor manufactured by Sony. It delivers a 4072 × 3046 pixel array with a 1.55 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 7.882 mm diagonal with a 2036:1523 aspect ratio, characteristic of 1/3-inch sensors widely used in embedded and surveillance systems. With 1.55 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
