The IMX577 is a 12.48-megapixel CMOS image sensor manufactured by Sony. It delivers a 4072 × 3064 pixel array with a 1.55 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 7.899 mm diagonal with a 509:383 aspect ratio, characteristic of 1/3-inch sensors widely used in embedded and surveillance systems. With 1.55 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
