The IMX220 is a 20.85-megapixel CMOS image sensor manufactured by Sony. It delivers a 5264 × 3960 pixel array with a 1.2 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 7.905 mm diagonal with a 658:495 aspect ratio, characteristic of 1/3-inch sensors widely used in embedded and surveillance systems. With 1.2 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
