The IMX286 is a 11.81-megapixel M/C image sensor manufactured by Sony. It delivers a 3968 × 2976 pixel array with a 1.25 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 6.2 mm diagonal with a 0.16875 aspect ratio, characteristic of 1/3-inch sensors widely used in embedded and surveillance systems. With 1.25 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
