The Snappy 2M is a 2.07-megapixel M/C image sensor manufactured by Teledyne e2v. It delivers a 1920 × 1080 pixel array with a 2.8 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 6.168 mm diagonal with a 0.672916667 aspect ratio, characteristic of 1/3-inch sensors widely used in embedded and surveillance systems. With 2.8 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
