The IMX338 is a 21.42-megapixel CMOS image sensor manufactured by Sony. It delivers a 5344 × 4008 pixel array with a 1.12 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 7.482 mm diagonal with a 0.16875 aspect ratio, characteristic of 1/3-inch sensors widely used in embedded and surveillance systems. With 1.12 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
