The IMX462 (Starvis 1.Gen) is a 2.13-megapixel M/C image sensor manufactured by Sony. It delivers a 1945 × 1097 pixel array with a 2.9 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 6.476 mm diagonal with a 1945:1097 aspect ratio, characteristic of 1/3-inch sensors widely used in embedded and surveillance systems. With 2.9 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
