The IMX036 is a 3.27-megapixel M/C image sensor manufactured by Sony. It delivers a 2096 × 1561 pixel array with a 2.5 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 6.534 mm diagonal with a 2096:1561 aspect ratio, characteristic of 1/3-inch sensors widely used in embedded and surveillance systems. With 2.5 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
