The IMX989 is a 50.33-megapixel CMOS image sensor manufactured by Sony. It delivers a 8192 × 6144 pixel array with a 1.6 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 16.384 mm diagonal with a 0.16875 aspect ratio, corresponding to the 1-inch optical class used in industrial and broadcast cameras. With 1.6 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
