The HM5532 is a 5.51-megapixel CMOS image sensor manufactured by Himax Technologies. It delivers a 2688 × 2048 pixel array with a 2 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 6.759 mm diagonal with a 0.886111111 aspect ratio, characteristic of 1/3-inch sensors widely used in embedded and surveillance systems. With 2 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
