The OV12830 is a 12.84-megapixel CMOS image sensor manufactured by OmniVision Technologies. It delivers a 4256 × 3016 pixel array with a 1.1 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 5.738 mm diagonal with a 532:377 aspect ratio, in the 1/4-inch class found in compact embedded vision modules. With 1.1 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
