The SC4236 is a 3.54-megapixel CMOS image sensor manufactured by SmartSens Technology. It delivers a 2304 × 1536 pixel array with a 2.5 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 6.923 mm diagonal with a 0.126388889 aspect ratio, characteristic of 1/3-inch sensors widely used in embedded and surveillance systems. With 2.5 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
