The SC5300 is a 5.06-megapixel CMOS image sensor manufactured by SmartSens Technology. It delivers a 2592 × 1952 pixel array with a 2.2 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 7.139 mm diagonal with a 81:61 aspect ratio, characteristic of 1/3-inch sensors widely used in embedded and surveillance systems. With 2.2 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
