The IMX355 is a 5.13-megapixel monochrome CMOS image sensor manufactured by Sony. It delivers a 2616 × 1960 pixel array with a 2 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 6.538 mm diagonal with a 327:245 aspect ratio, characteristic of 1/3-inch sensors widely used in embedded and surveillance systems. With 2 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
