The IMX550 is a 24.84-megapixel monochrome CMOS image sensor manufactured by Sony. It delivers a 5760 × 4312 pixel array with a 0.9 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 6.476 mm diagonal with a 720:539 aspect ratio, characteristic of 1/3-inch sensors widely used in embedded and surveillance systems. With 0.9 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
