The IMX400 is a 21.20-megapixel CMOS image sensor manufactured by Sony. It delivers a 5520 × 3840 pixel array with a 1.22 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 8.204 mm diagonal with a 0.969444444 aspect ratio, typical of the 1/2-inch optical class used in compact industrial cameras. With 1.22 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
