The IMX800 is a 53.87-megapixel CMOS image sensor manufactured by Sony. It delivers a 8768 × 6144 pixel array with a 1 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 10.706 mm diagonal with a 137:96 aspect ratio, typical of the 1/2-inch optical class used in compact industrial cameras. With 1 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
