The Hydra is a 0.50-megapixel monochrome CMOS image sensor manufactured by Teledyne AnaFocus. It delivers a 832 × 600 pixel array with a 10 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 10.258 mm diagonal with a 104:75 aspect ratio, typical of the 1/2-inch optical class used in compact industrial cameras. With 10 µm pixels, the sensor features large pixels optimised for high sensitivity and dynamic range in low-light and scientific applications.
