The NSC0806 is a 0.44-megapixel monochrome CMOS image sensor manufactured by NIT. It delivers a 768 × 576 pixel array with a 10 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 9.6 mm diagonal with a 0.16875 aspect ratio, typical of the 1/2-inch optical class used in compact industrial cameras. With 10 µm pixels, the sensor features large pixels optimised for high sensitivity and dynamic range in low-light and scientific applications.
