The OV40A PureCel Plus-SHDR is a 40.51-megapixel CMOS image sensor manufactured by OmniVision Technologies. It delivers a 7360 × 5504 pixel array with a 1.008 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 9.264 mm diagonal with a 115:86 aspect ratio, typical of the 1/2-inch optical class used in compact industrial cameras. With 1.008 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
