The ISOCELL GM2 is a 48.77-megapixel CMOS image sensor manufactured by Samsung Semiconductors. It delivers a 8064 × 6048 pixel array with a 0.8 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 8.064 mm diagonal with a 0.16875 aspect ratio, typical of the 1/2-inch optical class used in compact industrial cameras. With 0.8 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
