The ISOCELL GN5 is a 50.14-megapixel CMOS image sensor manufactured by Samsung Semiconductors. It delivers a 8160 × 6144 pixel array with a 1 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 10.214 mm diagonal with a 85:64 aspect ratio, typical of the 1/2-inch optical class used in compact industrial cameras. With 1 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
