The IMX644 is a 48.00-megapixel CMOS image sensor manufactured by Sony. It delivers a 8000 × 6000 pixel array with a 0.9 µm pixel pitch, providing efficient photon collection at each photosite. The optical format spans a 9 mm diagonal with a 0.16875 aspect ratio, typical of the 1/2-inch optical class used in compact industrial cameras. With 0.9 µm pixels, the sensor features very fine pixel pitch targeting maximum spatial resolution in microscopy and metrology systems.
